SET-Plan Conference 2019

Finland will hold the Presidency of the Council of the European Union between 1 July and 31 December 2019.  The European Strategic Energy Technology Plan (SET-Plan) is delighted to welcome you to their conference in Helsinki next November 13 – 15, 2019.

SET-Plan was established to accelerate the transformation of the European energy system and to bring new low-carbon energy technologies to market.

The focus of the conference will be on the interplay of the different parts of the energy system. It will identify ways to decarbonise sectors for which electrification is not a short-term solution. Sessions will address, among other topics, the decarbonisation of industry, sector coupling and developments in renewable energy. Financing of low-carbon technologies, nuclear innovation and the role of women in clean energy will also be discussed.
