Smart EV-VC Final Event

The Smart EV-VC final event will be held co-located with the EPoSS Annual Forum. The registration is now open for both events.

Targeting the strengthening of the European FEV value chain and its focus on innovation, activities within Smart EV-VC sought to define objectives of electric vehicles “made in Europe”  starting by researching and debating the potential unique selling point (USP) of a FEV made in Europe. These USPs have been mapped against milestones and actions from European roadmaps for electrification of road transport, and compared with recent achievements of running projects. Moreover, topics that are crucial for an early development of European value chains have been investigated, e.g. in the domains of staff training, education, and standardization as well as shared concepts for testing, prototyping and production facilities.

The Coordination and Support Action Smart EV-VC supporting activities in the European Green Vehicles Initiative will end in September 2014 after two years of inspiring discussions on above topics between the partners as well as experts at external events. To follow up the constant commitment of the project to spreading the discussions to a wider audience and thereby to fertilize debate within the European FEV community, a broader stakeholder audience is kindly invited to discuss the main results of the project at the

Smart EV-VC Final Event
24-25 September, Turin, Italy
(co-located with the EPoSS Annual Forum 2014)

The event will start with a session presenting the main results of the project and opening them for discussion. This session is kindly hosted by the EPoSS Working Group Automotive. It is followed by a reception bringing together the Smart EV-VC Final Event and the working groups of EPoSS. The evening ends with the EPoSS Gala Dinner.

In the morning of the second day, the first session of the EPoSS Annual Forum will be dedicated to topics of the smart electric vehicle, which will conclude the Smart EV-VC Final Event.
