Raising Awareness of Job Opportunities in Vehicle Electrification

 e-gomotion aims at raising awareness among young people on sustainable mobility, focusing on the new frontiers of e-mobility and the growing job opportunities in this field. To encourage the involvement of young people (high-school students, university students and young professionally active engineers and technicians), e-gomotion performs Coordination and Support Actions including:

  • the analysis of the existing job opportunities
  • communication campaigns aimed at:
    • evaluating and demonstrating job creation in mobility sector, with specific reference to the electrification sector;
    • encouraging young people to choose the education paths which will enable them to apply for these positions
  • electrification sessions at different road transport conferences and symposia in the EU, targeting an audience of professionals, researchers and industry experts of the transport sector
  • the implementation of a web portal designed to raise awareness on e-mobility and on the best education opportunities
  • an interactive 'Road Show' visiting regional high schools
  • 'e-gomotion Challenge', a competition where student teams propose solutions for a more sustainable mobility
  • 'e-gomotion Academy', a web school which provides tutorials for understanding the technology of electric vehicles.

The partner universities are supported by an Advisory Board of ten industry actors and the regional networks of the universities.
